Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi,
I am using Dynamic sql in ESQL/C using the sqlda
structure. While fetching records using the sqlda
structure, I am able to read all data from the
"CHAR" type columns, but I am not able to read the
non-CHAR data (INTEGER, DATETIME, etc.). Is there
a way to read non-CHAR columns using SQLDA.
(I know that you can do this if you are using the
"SYSTEM DESCRIPTOR" instead of sqlda).
Bye,
