Installation problem Informix SE Linux

Hello, I'm trying to install the Informix Standard Engine (SE) V7.25 UC6 Linux 32 bit product. I have the following error : Installing directory . Installing directory bin etc/brand: relocation error: etc/brand: symbol errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference Installation of INFORMIX-SE failed. GLIBC is well installed on my server. We use the Fedora 7 distribution. Do you have an idea ? Hi, I found the solution. I have to install the Informix SE V7.25.UC6R1 Linux RedHat which works on my server. You will have to install the GLIBC2.0 compatibility (IB it's GNU C v3.xx) package. Most Linuxes now come with GNU C v4.xx and it looks like Informix SE was compiled with version 3.xx. Contact IBM for details, tech support will know what the exact package is that you need. Art Art S.
