Under Informix Online 5.0, it has been giving up a lot of problems. There is one transaction file that contains over 1500 entries. The problem we seem to be running into deals with the blob spaces. We constantly receive the "Cannot close blob" error. We find ourselves increasing the size of the blob spaces over and over again. If your transaction does not write to blob spaces, Informix should be able to handle the transaction; however, if your transaction contains a number of updates to blob spaces, BEWARE, you may encounter a number of problems. -- ============================================================================ _/_/_/_/ _/_/_/_/ _/_/_/_/ John C.
