We have a database that receives data from several thousand collection points around the clock 365 (or 366) days a year. When we first started, I worked EVERY SINGLE DAMN WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY for over two years. Now we have a real IT staff, and I don't have to do it myself, but someone is here every day. (And no, I did not get any comp time, extra vaykay, recognition, bennies or whatever, just did it cause someone had to.) And mostly it is not for reorgs, upgrades, et al, it is to help users who get hung up, to perform archives, to monitor the heartbeat of the system, etc etc etc etc etc... Ray
