Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
I am working on a system experiencing slow database insert/select
throughput (HP9000 Online 5). I believe part of the problem is a very
small physical log file size - 1MB. (The logical logs are also small
at 1/2MB). I have 2 questions:
1. What impact does the physical log file size have on performance?
2. What is the process for changing its size? Does Online have to be
re-initialized or can it just be changed and brought back up?
