Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I started onsnmp for IDS 9.40 running on a HP L2000 with 4x800MHz
PA-RISC CPUs. I noticed that the onsnmp process occupies more than 10
percent of one CPU. On a heavy loaded server, the management program
often recieves no response with snmp GET( the network quality is ok).
Could someone explain the mechanism of onsnmp and why does it need so
many CPU resources?
