I would be interested in any information you might come up with about NewEra. Informix cannot supply me with a reference, will not show me the product, and will not allow me to evaluate it. The whole thing about NewEra is rather strange. On one hand Informix is claiming in its ads that NewEra is a breakthrough product and on the other hand they do not want it evaluated. The reasons so far given have ranged from "it is too complicated" to "it is not ready for evaluation". I'm not sure what is going on but I know that the product is barely selling and I think that Informix may have a lemon on its hands.
