Adj row lock in 7.12 ? Urgent.

Hi, 1. I have seen couple of threads regarding adjacent row locking even if the lock is set to row-level, in Informix ver 6.0 or less. We are using 7.12 on NT server and we are facing similar problem Is this problem of Adj row lock still there in 7.12 ?? 2. I have row level lock with commited read in the DB. But still I get into problem of retrieve failures after inserting a record from another m/c. Are there any env. variables that I need to check ( like PDQPriority MaxPDQPriority, etc .....) Please help and thankyou in advance. SOM
