ESQL/C error message

Hi, We have an old version of Informix (INFORMIX-OnLine Version 4.10.UG1 and INFORMIX EMBEDDED SQL for C Version 4.10.UG1) running under SCO Unix V.3.2 v4.1 Everything was fine until we had a system crash and had to restore from our backups. Since the restore "esql" is failing and returning an error message that is not listed :- /u/acct/informix/lib/esqlc -t unix -V -EDpws sicrefif.ec Unknown error message -22554. All other Informix products are working as per normal. ESQL/C was working fine until the crash, and as far as I am aware the backup was restored correctly. Does anyone have any ideas as to where the problem is ? Thanks in advance Tony
