No there is not. The purpose of preparing a statement is to save the cost of repeated optimization (to create a query plan) of a statement that has to be executed many times. Since the table does not exist the optimizer cannot develop a query plan. Even if you once prepare the statement while the table exists if it were subsequently dropped and recreated the prepared statement would be unusable since the table location is incorrect. Art S. Kagel
