Re: IIUG Board election results

It's no surprise that the current board president does whatever he likes...even when someone raises a serious concern, nobody takes it seriously. Neil was on the board before the chaos started, and left right before the dictatorship ensued. I don't believe Neil was able to get any favour as many do now. Gumby - well, as one poster said, his comments are to be ignored because they're just "shite." Jean-Georges - he knows exactly what is going on, but as most, is so terrified by the current board mgmt that no comments as to any wrongdoing will be made. Mr. Mosser - you have been a long-time Informix heavy-hitter. I cannot believe that you would not raise an eyebrow of concern over this. And to make light and spend many, many paragraphs ridiculing the post is just unacceptable. The poster of this original said clearly that he had inside information within IBM - this should be taken seriously. There are many, many that know what is going on with the current board. It has nothing to do with "if you can do a better job, then...". The current president has selectively removed those - including 3 IBM liasons that left knowing it was a futile effort - who would challenge him. The current board knows this, but they too will not speak up. I do hope others will jump in. And OTC - how's about you get off your little wagon about anonymous postings - last I checked YOU have been anonymous for how long? How does that work? And you are very, very critical of all-comers. Again - how does that work? Slick W. In fact, its because the IIUG doesn't charge for membership that these issues arose.
