SQL statement Scope

Hello Netter, I just have one question, what is the scope of set isolation and set lock mode statement in .ec files. Is it gonna be within the file, function, or entire program? example: file1.ec .... void set_dbopt(voi) { $ set isolation to dirty read; $ set lock mode to wait 15; return; } file2.ec .... { $ update ..... } Would dirty read isolation, and lock mode wait be carried over to the update statment? thanx in advance 8-D Duc DBA - dnguyen@polaris.attmail.com
