I have a column called >NAME in one of the tables, and need to update that column. How can >I turn of the special keyword meaning of NAME, so that I can refer to >it in my program? In ESQL v2.10, you cannot do it. In 4.00, you would have to prefix the column name with a table name or table alias. In 5.00 and above, you could use the name unescaped. I think 4.10 would behave as 5.00 does; if not, it behaves as 4.00 does. Why are you using such an old version of the software?
