DBACCESS parameters/environment variables

Hello all, I need some help with DBACCESS on Unix. What are the command line parameters or environment variables I can use to specify the username and password to connect as? If none, is there a command I can put in a file being processed by DBACCESS to specify them? Sorry about asking bonehead questions, but I don't have proper docs.
