The sql relay module has some sort of bug that absolutely KILLS performance if used with a shared memory connection to the engine. If you use a sockets connection, things get a lot better. I havn't done or heard of any FORMAL benchmarks, but it SEEMS to make very little NOTICABLE difference to interactive end-users. Irwin
