onbar restore

Hi, I am able to make an onbar imported restore (with rename option) on an Windows IDS 11.10. I have the felling that every month restore time is increased. Can that be the reason? Any further suggestion? On source IDS I use the onbar -b -w (whole system backup). LTAPEDEV is set to /dev/nul. Database size is 400GB with many dbsapces and chunks. be a good idea to run onsymnc... It appears that you have some corruption in your ixbar file as onbar could not find a logical log needed for the restore : (it took aprx 8 hours to parse this file so it may behove you to prune it as it's probably very large). 2012-03-01 21:25:56 3956 3956 Completed reserved pages restore (level 0 of rootdbs). 2012-03-02 05:34:39 3956 3956 (-43341) Logical log 10429 is needed by this restore but cannot be found in OnBar ixbar file. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Since this is a redirected restore I suspect your ixbar.<servernum> files were not in sync between the source and target instances ? Check with tech support for more guidance. Mark
