libelf error when compiling

Eng: online 5.00.UC2 Comp: 4gl 4.1 (C compiler) OS: dgux 5.4R2.01 HW: 2x25Mhz CPU, 64MG RAM and 6GIG disk DB: 1.3 GIG 242 Tables This morning everything was working fine but now, whenever we do a compile of any 4gl we get the following error. ld: /usr/informix/lib/libnforms.a: libelf error: Format error: archive symtab Fatal error in /bin/ldExit status 01 HELP please Adam adams@sgen.com.au
