Hi Peter, I'd never make production dependent in any way to any test/training/ dev/... system. So no ER, HDR or anything similar between them. Just as Madison said, backup + restore + your own scripted procedure to transform the copy of production to test/dev/... There was a similar thread few weeks ago, I think the subject is "ER question", poster "theBP" had a few nice observations on usage of ER for setting up a test system from production. HTH Davorin
