Migrating en_US.819 to en_US.utf8 in INFORMIX 10.00.FC4

Hi All: Currently I am in midst of migrating en_US.819 database in INFORMIX 10.00.FC4 to en_US.utf8. 819 database does have just pure english data set. However, I notice during dbload to utf8, some of the rows where where column(s) data are VARCHAR(...) does not get migrated. Not sure where exactly is the issue as I do not see anything wrong with the data. Do I have to define NVARCHAR ???? Thanks in Advance Anand
