RE: Strange problem with 'drop synonym'

How about changing your code to switch your session to that of the owner, before you drop it ? Set session authorization to "owner" Drop & recreate ...... It could also be the table that you are pointing to, and not the synonym itself ... -----Original Message----- From: owner-informix-list@iiug.org [mailto:owner-informix-list@iiug.org] On Behalf Of Five Cats Sent: Friday, February 06, 2004 7:35 PM To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: Re: Strange problem with 'drop synonym' In message <c7QUb.16801$uM2.3374@newsread1.news.pas.earthlink.net>, Jonathan Leffler <jleffler@earthlink.net> writes >Five Cats wrote: >> I have a customer running IDS 7.31.UD4 on Solaris.
