I have used SE 7.25 and IDS 9.30 on the same Linux machine. The installation procedure was : first 4GL, development tools (I-SQL) then CSDK (software development kit), then the SE and IDS engines. I'm using Linux slackware in general, and the problems you run into have more to do with GLIBC compatibility (or compatibility of engines with GLIBC etc. so you have to be careful to pick a "fit-best" for both engines, since you may have some environment that works for SE but not for IDS and vice-versa) But for this, is it important to know which operating system you use ... What operating system do you use on the development machine ?
thanks for your info. i'm using Win2k guy "David Stes" <stes@D5E029DD.kabel.telenet.be> wrote in message news:JfTYa.56263$F92.6558@afrodite.telenet-ops.be... > Guy Dillen <guy_dillen@hotmail.com> wrote: > > Can i install both IDS 9.4 UC2 and SE on 1 development machine?
