For Standard Engine I use the following commands:
DATABASE db1
SELECT * FROM table_bd1 INTO TEMP tmp_tablebd1 WITH NO LOG
DATABASE db2
-- Change database doesn't drop temp tables
INSERT INTO table_bd2 SELECT * FROM tmp_tablebd1
-------------------------
