ODBC to different Databases

Hi, I 've a Problem connecting to different Databases via ODBC (not the same GLS-Environment) from one NT-Client. Because of the different GLS-Environment ( Databases on NT-Servers and UNIX-Servers) before accessing to a database(DSN) the UserEnvironment has to be changed via SetNet32-Tool or by changing the User-Profile. 1. It's very complicated. 2. It require that the user has permission to change his profile or to run setnet32. Is there any other, shorter, not so complicated way??? Can someone give me help, or confirm that there is no other way. -Ruediger
