If your listener threads are running in the CPU VP (NETTYPE .....,CPU) this can happen since the VP is busy sorting and calculating and may not relinquish the VP for listening to connection requests until it needs to issue an I/O request. Try changing your listeners to NET VPs. Art S. Kagel
