RE: IDS-7.30 and Linux RedHat 6.0

I can't believe I'm going to stand up for Rekaish, but... From: "Mehdi Afshar" <mehdi@querix.com> > >We are not really here to look after Informix's Interest. WE ARE >HOWEVER HERE IN THE INTEREST OF INFORMIX USERS. WE >OFFER A HIGHLY APPRECIATED PRODUCT THAT RUNS ON >MANY PLATFORMS, THE SAME COMPILER WORKS WITH ALL >INFORMIX'S DBMS. THERE IS ALSO AN ORACLE VERSION OF >QUERIX. That's fine and dandy Mr Afshar, but if you actually *read* the question, you would have noticed that the original post was asking if a specific version of the Informix Dynamic Server would work with a specific version of a specific port of Linux. Given that your product is a clone of the Informix-4GL compiler, I cannot see how it could possibly be seen in any way as relevant for you to follow up with a post about your product. We find a lot of people who throw in an advert for their product when it is entirely irrelevant, and it's fair game that you get subjected to abuse whenever you do this. Since this is clearly what you have done, you can't complain when we complain, can you? > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Mehdi Afshar [mailto:info@querix.com] > > > > Your Alternative solution would be a FREE copy of QueriX 4GL Compiler >for > > LINUX. > > > > "Pichet R." wrote: > > > > > I am interesting about Informix for Linux.
