Good morning, I=B9m wondering if anyone has run across a version of Server Studio for Informix for Apple Mac OS X? Also, I=B9m interested in the OAT utility, I se= e that will run under Apache, has anyone used that with OS X? Thank-you for any insight. Hi, I've not used it myself, but I've seen OAT running on Mac OS X yesterday. This was at an "Infobahn" event, where they even managed to have an alert ringing an iPhone, which then used the browser to check with OAT what the matter was ... :) So OAT on Mac OS X should be a valid configuration. I don't know about Server Studio, but I doubt that it is available for this platform. OAT for Mac will be released soon. There are some install and other issues that need to be figured out with respect to the PHP and Apache that comes bundled with OS X. I have it running on my MBP running OS X Server and it works quite well. ------------------------------------------------- Carlton Doe Flower Mound, TX No trees were killed in the transmission of this email, however a large number of electrons were temporarily inconvenienced. Hi Jonathan. Mac OS comes with Apache and PHP. But the Mac OS's built-in PHP does not have all the extensions that OAT requires. You will have to compile PHP from source code in order to get it to work on Mac OS. Here is the list of PHP extensions that OAT requires: Pcre Pdo Pdo_sqlite Pdo_informix Soap Gd (requires libpng and libjpeg libraries) Openssl (requires libssl and libcrypto libraries) Sockets Libxml (requires libxml2 libraries) Session Simplexml It is possible to get it to work on a Mac, but the setup is rather complicated. Setting up OAT on windows/linux is much easier.
