Re: 11.70xC3 conversion

I have more trouble than I thought.
The sysmaster database does not exist anymore.
What would you suggest?

Ok, since IDS would not stay up, I ran the buildsmi.bat again and when it paused, I started IDS in another window.
This time, the ids log has this...
15:33:23 SCHAPI: [autoreg migrate cheer 31-11] Error -329 Database not found or no system permission.
15:33:23 SCHAPI: [autoreg migrate cheer 31-11] Error -111 ISAM error: no record found.
15:33:23 Can not determine locale for database cheer.
15:33:23 SCHAPI: task autoreg migrate cheer(31-11) disabled, can not find database (cheer).
15:33:24 SCHAPI: [mon_config_startup 3-283] Error -329 Database not found or no system permission.
15:33:24 SCHAPI: [mon_config_startup 3-283] Error -111 ISAM error: no record found.
15:33:24 SCHAPI: [mon_sysenv 4-283] Error -329 Database not found or no system permission.
15:33:24 SCHAPI: [mon_sysenv 4-283] Error -111 ISAM error: no record found.
15:33:24 SCHAPI: [autoreg migrate-console 14-283] Error -329 Database not found or no system permission.
15:33:24 SCHAPI: [autoreg migrate-console 14-283] Error -111 ISAM error: no record found.
The buildsmi.out just has this:
Database selected.
load from 'C:\\Informix\\etc\\sysextspaces.unl' insert into sysextspaces;0 row(s) loaded.
Database closed.
But buildsmi_out.IDS1170 has this:
908: Attempt to connect to database server (IDS1170) failed.
Lockmode set.
330: Cannot create or rename the database.
100: ISAM error: duplicate value for a record with unique key.
Error in line 30Near character position 33
Cleaning up whatever was successfully created
Database selected.
187 row(s) deleted.
0 row(s) deleted.
Database closed.
Database dropped.
================
The IDS stays up now. I cannot say what caused it to stop before.
I better leave it for now. I have user coming in to beat on it tomorrow.
What do you think is causing the “SCHAPI:” errors?
