Are there any developers out there using the Informix RDBMS with Q+E's ODBC driver that can comment on this combination? Chris: VMARK Software has a middleware product called HyperSTAR that eliminates the need for the Q+E product and the I-Net transport protocol layers which should improve the performance significantly. HyperSTAR supports ODBC, or C API's to their middleware. Their ODBC driver is all that is needed for any ODBC compliant database server, no need to purchase multiple ODBC drivers.
