Hoe to avoid generate sysdistrib when create index

Hi all! Engine 11.50.FC1 I don't want to work with sysdistrib implemented, never done UPDATE STATISTICS with HIGH-LOW or other clauses but when i do a CREATE INDEX ids automatically creates entries in sysdistib table. How can i avoid this please ?? Rgards

The additional cost of collecting those statistics during index build is minute - hence why the feature was added. I don't understand how you feel that Sysdistrib is going to hurt your processing, can you give us the use case? If you want to get rid of those entries you could always update statistics low drop distributions; Did I read you correctly - you are at least doing "update statistics" - correct? cheers j.
