Selecting DBSPACE when using DBEXPORT and DBIMPORT

Hi All,
I have two dbspaces ROOTDBS (COOKED FILE) and TTSDBS (RAW). Previously, I had
my database on TTSDBS. But when I took database backup using command "dbexport
mydb" and after executing "oninit -i". I tried to restore it on the same
dbspace "dbimport mydb", database start using ROOTDBS instead of using TTSDBS.
a.. Anyone have any idea, why it used ROOTDBS.
b.. Secondly, if I want to move my data back from ROOTDBS to TTSDBS, what
option do I have other than using manual scripts to LOAD and UNLOAD data DMPs.
Regards,
Navaid Arif
Try dbimport -d <myspace> mydb

Failure is not as frightening as regret.
If you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid.
Hi,
Dbexport imports to rootdbs if you do not name a destination dbspace
(Option -d).
For Backup/Restore, you should use ontape/onbar ... These keep the
dbspace information.
If you want to reorganize your data using dbexport/dbimport, you should
use the -d option.

1. dbimport mydb -d TTSDBS should import in TTSDBS dbs
2, If you would have used dbexport mydbs -ss, mydbs.sql would have correct
dbspace info.
Cheers
