I would write a Stored procedure, you pass it one value and receive 3 back (Street, Number, Indicator) Let the SP do the split, and then if it is not 100% sure of the result, flag it. You can then manually check the ones where the SP was not 100%. First add the indicator column to the table, you can drop it, once you are done. Eg 1235 2de street could cause a problem but 1235 walker street can be identified You can then keep on expanding the rules in the SP until you are happy.
