Hi there!
Have a question about KAIO on Windows...
Does Windows use KAIO by default? if not, how can I make it work if it
is possible.
And another question... If KAIO is turned on in Windows, does Informix
use it automatically, or should I modify Informix parameter KAIOON=1 to
make it work???
thank you for any help in advance!!!

Yes KAIO is used automatically on Windows. You can check by running
"onstat -g iov" - look out for kio class threads. You should have one
per CPU VP.
