Hi John, there a many cases using statements, that one thinks has to happen in tempspaces, but that don't. The documentation states it correct, but you need to stick closely to the words. There many cases where you have to say explicit "with no log" or " f.i. "... temp x1 in dbspace tempdbs". Klaus Nonne nsi001@aol.com
