Omniback II

Im trying to get Omniback to backup my informix database and Im having a
very hard time. Basically, I get the following error when I run a back
up of all my dbspaces:
-----------
14:48:27 : (12748) IBK-bsa: [Critical] From:
BDA-NET@prosap1
"prosap1lp1shm" Time: 01/05/01 14:48:27
[80:1003] Can not allocate/attach shared memory (IPC Can
not Create
Shared Memory Segment) => aborting.
------------
Strangely, a whole system backup completes successfully. Are there any
informix/omniback or onbar configuration parameters that I should pay
special attention to?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Roberto.

I had a similar problem and it was mainly to do with the Informix
instance, unable to allocate extra shared memory segments because of
lack of swapspace available.
I suggest trying to up your swapspace, and give some more memory to the
instance, to avoid it grabbing extra segments.
