Re: Starting/Stopping Online server agent from NT script?

Hi: Don't about Informix (I'm an Oracle propeller-head), but if the service name that is displayed on the services applet on the control panel has spaces in it, then you can delimit the name with double quotes. (On wonderful NT, services have a *real* name and a *display* name, and you can address them using either.) So, try: NET STOP "Online Server Agent" Also, look in the NT resource kit, and you should find a command called NETSVC. You can use that command to display, stop, start, etc., local or remote services. If I'm not mistaken, it shows you the *real* service name and the *display* service name. Return the favor? Are you using Informix's Advanced Decision Support option by any chance?
