RE: KAIO error on DEC Unix v3.2

Hi Ray! Your NUMAIOVPS parameter is too high, DEC ALPHA uses Kernel AIO, and this parameter is super high in your case. We had a similar problem when we used the formula (OnLine Configuration Parameters 37-47) it gave me 16 and we had the error, so we had to reduce the number of NUMAIOVPS because it was allocating a lot of memory for the 16 specified, check onmode -p Regards, ---------------------------------------------------------------- Mario Estrada | SISTECO, S.A.
