Informix Support for Delphi developers

With the advent of the release of Delphi 4/BDE 5 with support for Microsoft's Transaction Server(MTS), I really felt bad that Delphi4 using MTS didn't support Informix. The reason they gave is this: "Delphi4/BDE 5.0 does communicate with MTS. Since MS SQL and Oracle were the only 2 DBMS that we got the MTS interfaces for, they are the only 2 we support. I would assume that as other vendors make this compatibility available, we will support those as well." --Josh (Borland/Inprise) My question is this. If Oracle can provide the needed compatibilty/interfaces, Why can't Informix? People here say that Oracle is only good at marketing. But hey, they have proven me that they're also good at supporting developers. No wonder they're on top! I'm sure the all Delphi developers hanging around this newsgroup share my sentiments.
