Not that long ago.

The connection is not idle, as the application is processing information, it
is simply that the application has been running for awhile, constantly
issueing queries, and through cursors. The lack of errors on the engine
side also makes me suspect it is the 4gl (RS/6000) side that is screwing up.~
Also "tcpdump -i eth0 src host mie" verifies that the conenction remains
active the entire time.
