A minimum of five years experience in computer business systems with strong technical knowledge client/server architecture; 2. Strong in-depth knowledge of RDBMS and their associated tools and products in the utilization of one or more of the following: Oracle, Sybase, Informix or DB2; 3. Background must include structured methodology and CASE tool experience; 4. Good organization skills are necessary for the implementation of system components and procedures; 5. Excellent communication skills are needed to effectively communicate with clients, users and team members; 6. Extensive written skills are imperative for the documentation of methods and procedures; and 7. BS in Computer Science. Job Duties ---------- The selected candidate will (a) work with business and IS managers to develop solutions by building the technical infrastructure and data architecture for medium to large-scale systems; (b) utilize and strengthen his/her expertise in one or more relational database management systems by designing data structures and models; (c) perform database tuning; (d) implement access and performance standards and (d) define integrity guidelines for complex databases.
