Re: New Features IDS 10
Posted in 2006
Not a troubleshooting thread. One poster simply reproduced the IBM Information Center's "new features" lists for IDS 10.00 — xC1 (security, usability, performance, SQL, ER, backup/restore, storage, extensibility, installation, interoperability), xC3 (ANSI joins in distributed queries, XA support, MQ DataBlade, DBCREATE_PERMISSION, AES network encryption, bundled Client SDK, etc.) and xC4 (TRUNCATE, ER sync/consistency checking, IPv6, secure local connections, etc.) — with links. The rest degenerated into joking/jibes between Oracle and IBM posters about poaching the IDS team. No technical problem posed and no resolution recorded.

Mark, shouldn't you mend fences on the Oracle support process complaints over in c.d.o.server? Appears like your time would be better invested over there. Or do you actually want us to come over and engage on your behalf? Cheers Serge -- Serge Rielau DB2 Solutions Development IBM Toronto Lab
