The specified synonym is not defined in this database. Inspect the name ..." and so on. The error msg rpt suggests other causes, namely, dropping the synonym, dropping the table associated with the synonym. Display all synonyms, using the following query: select tabname from systables where tabtype = "s" Hoping the error messages have not changed since your release.
