Using your PC while an ODBC call is in progress -Reply

There are ODBC products which claim to be able to make asynchonous calls. The one we use does so. I have never tried to implement it, not because I have doubts about the driver, but because of the flakiness of Win 3.x. (The same problem you have found) It is my opinion that unless you are prepared to move to 32 bit, you will always be attempting to make a silk purse out of a sows ear in attempting to multiprocess a windows PC.
