I have had no problems installing Informix 7.1 on SPARC Solaris 2.4. I have even installed Informix 7.1 on SPARC Solaris 2.4 which was really for Solaris 2.5 -- I didn't expect it to work -- but it is working great so far. I know, though, that if I get any errors, the first thing I will be told is that it is for the wrong Solaris version -- but, so far -- no errors! Barbara Garrett Sarasota County BGarrett1@aol
