BAR.EXE generates a File (ASCII??), wich can be written on a tape, e.g. with ArcServe, while the database engine is online. BAR.EXE is an interactive windows tool coming with informix database manager. I'm looking for a solution, that generates this "backupable" file automaticly in the background. I dont't know, if a command line interface exists. Is there anybody, who can help me?? Thanks Frank --------------077F3A2547F1CEAFC7EEB67F Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML> Does anybody knows how I can backup an informix database without using the native "BAR.EXE".
