Long transaction aborted (Error -458)

Hello, I have a object which is having around 30000 relationship with different objects. When I try to delete this object it gives me the error Long transaction aborted. If the object is having less relationship (say 10000) then it works fine. What could be the problem ? and how to resolve the problem. Thanks & Regards Jakir
