I have a few questions: 1. Did you try a few simple queries on your dating database to see if it works? 2. Did you install the product packages in the right order? Sometimes something so simple as this turns out to be the problem, which manifests itself as a database working ... almost, but not 100%. Check your Informix Installation Guide.
