Informix XPS was based off of Informix ODS 7.11 source code. Many of the features that have been added to the 7.X family have not been incorporated into the XPS code stream. Also, there were many OLTP features that were intentionally left out. XPS, in its current version is designed for DSS applications, so functionality like stored procedures and triggers were left out. There are also some SQL deficiencies. There is a documented list of differences available, try your Informix account SE or possibly Informix web site. -- Matt Bentley mbentley@xmission.com
