Just an FYI here: Watch for NewEra Response from jcdc.doleta.gov. I work with them as the DBA and in the process of meeting the goal! I did not even know this response! Again Subu I like to welcome your timly input to the Informix List!! Even your DBA learned something!!!!!! If memory serves me correctly someone earilier was worried about "encrypt the password user types at the prompt".
