Error onstat on Windows NT (IDS 7.31)

Hello, We are using IDS 7.31 on NT4 for several years : no problems. I installed this same version on new hardware (also running under NT4). The installation was successfull, the service is running and I can access the server (via SqlEitor,dbaccess). But when I run the onstat command, the following warning is given : "Informix Dynamic Server is no longer running", the onmode commands have no effect. Can anyone tell me what's wrong? Thanks a lot.

I think a Microsoft Windows update may be the cause of this problem. I can't remember the number but it concerns the security subsystem.
