Error in sql

Ellen, I may be the only one listening today, and the what I'm saying you may have already researched. But here goes.... Have you changed the ulimit parameter? The ulimit parameter could be preventing you from accessing/writing a file larger then 15MB. See ulimit in your system administration manuals. Also, where is your temporary directory for temp files? Make sure that you have more then 15,000 blocks in that directory. The error is a read error. We have gotten that on our 2.10 Informix "trying" to run Turbo. You might check the set up of Turbo for block sizes. Also, have seen this error listing and talked about when we were having our trouble as a possible bug with Informix Turbo. We are running on Sperry 5000/90. You've probably already checked this stuff, but you might not have. Cheryl Gross 903-334-3518
